The working title for this was “Autumn 2”. It was the second experiment into whether I could pick up from where I left Music for Autumn Lovers and make something special and focused around the same ideas and emotions as the original EP, to improve on them even. But I wanted to stay true to the simplicity as much as possible. To be instrumental, to keep the sounds close and intimate, to limit the amount of instruments and sounds included.

This one really made me happy. It felt exactly right and so I pushed on with making this album.

The full length version of Music for Autumn Lovers is out on November 1st. On vinyl. I’ve mixed the previous songs from scratch to sound much clearer and better (in my opinion) and it’s all been remastered.
